Celebrating your birthday during the COVID-19 shelter in place? Yep, me too. It’s what I call my back-to-basics birthday.
In this episode, I’ll share how I went back to the basics to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family.
Now, more than ever, it’s important that we take stock and make plans.
We’re creating from scratch. It’s like we’re reconnecting to some of the basics again.
We can’t control everything that’s going on, but we can take the time to design our next projects and create personal goals.
2020 will be the year that’s marked as the Covid-19 year. It’ll be remembered as the year that the entire planet took a pause. Together.
It’ll be remembered as the year that The New York Times published a photo essay called The Great Empty. The photos on display of some of our most populated cities, standing empty. The constant buzz of human activity, on pause.
As you look back on this incredible time, a time we didn’t necessarily choose, what will you be proud of?
There’s so much we can do to show each other that we care.
What do you want to create while you’re celebrating your birthday during covid-19? How do you want to spend your time? What will your loved ones say about how you handled this crisis?
So on my birthday, I’m going to ask you for a present. Listen in on this episode and play along with the challenge.
I can’t wait to see what you create.
