Episode 130: Ever Stop and Think, “How the Heck Is This My Life?”

It reminds me of that old song “Once In A Lifetime” by the Talking Heads … “This is not my beautiful house! This is not my beautiful wife!”

It’s a weird feeling, right? There you are, going about your life and things might feel a little weird here and there … but then that low-level hum of “something’s not right here” starts to become, “I’ve gotta get out of here!”

I know I certainly had that experience, like so many other women, when I knew it was time to quit my corporate job. It’s scary, and a little bit disorienting. But it’s really important that we listen when that happens.

We never want to get stuck where we don’t belong.
