Episode 40: How To Plan For A Promising Q4

Game on Girlfriend Ep40 Title Graphic

In this episode I’m going to talk to you about how to plan for a promising Q4.

I’m sure you’re asking yourself questions like, “Should we travel for the holidays? Will the kids be in school? What’s going to happen to the economy?”

There are truly so many unknowns right now. We can’t predict what will happen next, we can’t even pretend to know because it’s impossible to know, honestly.

As we talked about in Episode 27, we never really did know what would happen. It was all an illusion. At any moment everything can change, and that’s always been true.

But after this year, the illusion of predictability has been removed. And know that we know that, how on earth do we make plans? How are you, as a business owner, supposed to know how to plan? Or set goals? Or get prepared?

In this week’s episode, I walk you through a quick exercise you can use on the daily as you sit down to your desk to get to work.

If you haven’t checked out Episode 35 yet, you might want to check it out after you finish listening. It’s a great companion to this one, as it will help you identify the stumbling blocks in your way that are stopping you from getting to a promising Q4.

Despite the year of madness we’ve had, your talents are still your talents. Your experiences are still your experiences. Your expertise is still your expertise. Don’t sell out on those because the world around you has changed. Adapt, learn and keep going.

If you’d like more support around planning the rest of your 2020, I’d like to invite you to a special workshop with me, where we will plan out the rest of your year, together, real time. You’ll walk out with a clear plan for how to approach each day, to get you to the results you really want.
