In the past (um, and the present?) there’s so much pressure on women to find “balance”.
I say that’s total BS.
It’s been a rough few weeks. I mean, an incredibly lucky few weeks and parts of it have me totally geeking out about how blessed we are, but tough nonetheless.
Now let’s talk about the pressure put on all of us to find this elusive balance everyone is always telling women we need to find.
I don’t believe that, and I hope you don’t believe that either.
There’s no such thing as finding balance or pretending that our life is somehow segmented into working hours and family hours and friend time.
It’s all one thing: our time.
This is one of my choppier episodes because I filmed it in between crying and eating and planning and traveling and wanting to be with my friend and our sons.
But, I hope the message shines through anyway - this is your life, these are your hour and this is your time.
Don’t let anyone tell you that it has to be one way or the other. That’s BS. Let’s take it back and live our lives on our terms.
I looked back at the questions I get asked most often when I speak around the country (mostly on Zoom lately, thanks COVID), and my team and I whittled this down to the 12 most commonly asked questions.
I created answer for each question with a short video. You can check out the whole series here. Or Catch these episodes:
