Episode117: Let’s Make Money, and Other Birthday Musings
It’s my birthday episode! I love making birthday episodes for the podcast! The first time it was my birthday after our launch, it was right in the middle of the shutdown.
And that sort of started a tradition of celebrating my birthday on the podcast. And I’m so excited that I got to do this one on my actual birthday!
I’m declaring my next trip around the sun “the year of women making a boatload of money.” I’m not kidding.
Over here at Team Sarah, we’ve set some really exciting (and honestly, scare-the-pants-off-me) goals regarding our revenue for the coming year.
I’m done messing around, and I’m in this to make sure I help you make more money, too. The days of “I’m scared of being salesy” and “People who make money are bad” are behind us.
We’ve let the rich people run this planet into the ground, and that’s happened partly because we don’t have the say over money we deserve to have.
I was chatting with someone just last week, and I said, “I want at least seven figures. Not for me — I don’t care. I want a say in where that money is going. I want to be in charge of directing that much money on the planet.”
And then you know I’m going to turn that into eight figures. And my goal is to hit nine figures before my I’m done teaching and coaching.
We’ve seen what happens to the planet when women don’t have money. And I don’t know about you, but I’m not thrilled with the results.
It’s time to get over our fears, to deal with our limiting beliefs, to declare money our birthright, and to start earning more of it.
I cry a little bit in this episode — hey, it’s my birthday, I can cry if I want to, right? The reason? Because this is my life’s work: to motivate, teach, and inspire you to do your life’s work.
Let’s go!
Pop in those earphones, and let’s get to it.
