Episode 92: The ONE Thing That Will Never Steer You Wrong (It’s the Softest Voice in the Room)

Game On Girlfriend Episode 92 Title Graphic

Have you ever had one of those moments when you knew, you just knew there was something you shouldn’t do, but you did it anyway?

Or worse, you knew what the right thing to do was, but you didn’t do it?

Oh, man. It feels horrible, right? Ugh. Like a punch in the gut yuckiness.

What if I told you it wasn’t your fault? What if I told you that, especially as a woman, you were trained not to listen to that quiet little voice that says, “Hey! Don’t do that.” Or “RUN!”

Because I’ll be honest, I truly believe we were trained to do exactly that — ignore our instincts. That’s what I call “the softest voice in the room.”

In today’s episode, I share some pretty specific examples of how this happens, and when it happens.

I also believe there’s a “for” intuition and an “against” intuition. There are times when we’re being told not to act, and times we’re being guided to act.

What if you decided to learn where you felt those in your own body? (Because we feel these nudges in our bodies before we hear them in our mind.)

It’s like I always tell my kids: “Your body knows before your head does.” I give an example of that in the podcast, too.

So, this week, take on the idea that it’s your job to reconnect with your intuition. To trust that you really do have everything you need inside you to know your best next step, or how to avoid future pain.

I can’t wait to hear what you find out!

I love how upbeat you are about this deep stuff that really matters – that makes up our “matter”! This podcast especially with ONE task to do all week – spot on! I’ve been learning to sense in for about 18 months now. It’s simple, and sometimes not easy. Also I love the length of your podcasts. They give me enough to get me going and inspire me to get back or get in to my day. As one friend of mine says “Keep that good shit going!”
