COVID has changed how we connect with each other.

And, as a business owner, that means your social media strategy has to keep up. Your audience expects you to be human. A real person, they can connect with, understand, and be inspired by. Oh, and P.S. that doesn’t mean you have to do it all yourself.

In this episode, I got to sit down with the founder of My Friend Betty Says, Betty Galvan. My Friend Betty is a Digital Marketing Studio with a team of killer social media experts who, get this is almost 90%, Latina. How cool is that?

Betty has over 12 years of experience in blogging and social media, as well as a background in education. She serves as an instructor and consultant, helping businesses and service providers thrive on social media.

My Friend Betty was formed 3 years ago. Her team currently manages social media platforms for over 45 entrepreneurs, including health care providers, realtors, attorneys, personal trainers, and business coaches.

Betty’s hosted a series of social media seminars. Including, “How to Leverage Facebook and Instagram for Your Business” and “The Personable Professional: Maximizing Your LinkedIn Presence.” She also trains teams of executives in various industries on social media strategies tailored to each business.

Betty’s appeared as a Speaker at #WeAllGrow Summit. She’s also been featured in several publications, such as BuzzFeed and Hip New Jersey. She was recently nominated for the B.I.G. Financial Courage Award as an outstanding leader. Betty has also been named as a Top Latina Blogger by LATISM (Latinos In Social Media).
