Episode 312: Awakening, Abundance & Ancient Wisdom — Rewriting Your Money Story with Halle Eavelyn
Breaking Free from Women's Financial Conditioning and Money Mindset Blocks
Here's something wild: women couldn't open their own bank accounts until 1974.
Not in the 1800s. Not during World War II. In 1974. That's your mom's generation. Maybe even yours.
Today, women still receive only 3% of venture capital funding. These aren't just depressing statistics - they reveal how women and money mindset issues are shaped by deep programming that's still affecting us right now.
Transformational wealth coach Halle Eavelyn has spent over a decade helping women recognize and release these financial patterns. She's been featured in Time Magazine, USA Today, and Good Morning America. With 30+ years of business experience across software, real estate, and film production, she gets it. More importantly, she understands how spiritual awakening connects directly to financial freedom.
Understanding women and money mindset starts with recognizing this programming.
In today's conversation, Halle shares her journey from an atheist software entrepreneur to a spiritual guide. She also explains why right now - this exact moment in history - makes women's financial empowerment more critical than ever.
The Moment Everything Changed
Halle's relationship with money shifted after a life-changing experience in Egypt. Her first trip there brought a message that altered every belief she held.
Picture this: she's in the dining room of a Nile cruise ship, going through a guided meditation. Suddenly, she receives a download that hits every cell of her body: "You have a soul, and you will never die."
That moment sparked a 30-year exploration into consciousness, intuition, and how women can reclaim their birthright to wealth.
"Everybody has those little WTF moments. The tendency in our world is to dismiss them as coincidence or less valuable than they are, but they're breadcrumbs. As women, when we follow those breadcrumbs from our intuition through action into results, we can change our lives one breath at a time."
This is the foundation of healing women and money mindset - recognizing that wealth is your birthright.
Before her awakening, Halle had night terrors since age 10. Her father told her bluntly where you go when you die: "In the ground. The worms eat you."
Not exactly comforting for a curious kid.
After Egypt, everything transformed. She went from being unable to say the word "God" out loud to leading over 30 spiritual journeys back there. She discovered she could download healing modalities and facilitate powerful transformations for other women.
Women and Money Mindset: Why We Struggle (And It's Not What You Think)
The barriers women face around money go way deeper than pay gaps or funding disparities. Through her coaching, Halle sees a pattern repeatedly: women becoming their own gatekeepers.
Here's what she's noticed: "It's not that the men don't want to give the women the money. It's that the women aren't even really asking for it. They're not getting turned down by the men because they're women. They're getting turned down because they're turning away from it in droves before they're even asking for the money."
This isn't weakness. It's conditioning.
For generations, women have heard, "Don't worry your pretty little head about it, sweetie." We inherited programming from great-grandmothers who survived famines. Our mothers couldn't access credit. Countless ancestors learned money wasn't meant for them.
That legacy shows up in surprising ways today. Successful women financially support their male partners while telling themselves they can't ask for more in their businesses. Others excel in boardrooms but still get silenced or dismissed by male colleagues - a dynamic that hasn't changed in 30 years.
Here's the pattern: a man walks in a straight line toward his goal without letting anything stop him. Meanwhile, a woman walking toward the same goal hears someone behind her and thinks, "Oh, they're going faster. Let me get out of their way." Then she offers them water and checks if someone else needs her.
We've been conditioned since day one to consider everyone else's emotions and needs while putting our own last.
Money as Energy: Rewriting the Story
One of Halle's most powerful teachings? Money is just a story we all agree to tell.
During our conversation, she pulls out a $100 bill. Except it's not legal tender. It looks identical to real currency, complete with watermarks. We collectively decided this particular piece of paper doesn't count as money.
"Why is the other one legal? Because we say it is," Halle explains.
"Money is the greatest story that's ever been told. We all believe in it. Most of us are telling the story of what we can't have instead of the story of what we can have."
This creates a radical possibility. If money is energy - a current that moves and flows - then our relationship with it can shift through the stories we believe.
Think about the word "currency" itself. Same root as "current" - like electricity, like water in the ocean. Money moves. It's not fixed or scarce, despite what economics classes teach. (Fun fact: the actual definition of economics is "the study of scarcity." No wonder we're all struggling.)
Halle offers a powerful reframe: "If you're already telling yourself the ugly lie - 'I don't have this, I'm too old for that, my skin is the wrong color' - why not tell yourself the beautiful lie instead? Why not tell yourself what's possible?"
Henry Ford nailed it: "Whether you believe you can or you believe you can't, you're right."
The Economic Reality Women Entrepreneurs Face Right Now
Halle doesn't sugarcoat what's coming. She sees clear signs of major economic shifts ahead - what she calls a "financial tsunami" that could reset the U.S. economy by 2027.
Corporate layoffs are accelerating because of AI. Economic uncertainty is mounting. Women entrepreneurs feel pressure from every direction: funding difficulties, confidence erosion, policy uncertainty, and increased competition. These challenges make shifting women and money mindset more critical than ever.
But Halle's message isn't fear. It's preparation and empowerment.
"Instead of going into fear, we have the choice of saying, 'How can I plan for those times? How can I create my own economy?" she says.
She references the Dalai Lama's prediction: "The world will be saved by the Western woman." Halle used to think he meant Western women collectively. Now she believes he meant each individual woman - you, specifically.
"This is your job. This is my job. We are all invited into this conversation. It's 11:59 on the ecological clock of the world, and the men have done a terrible job of stewardship. If women don't pick it up, the planet will simply shake us off."
Looking back through history, nearly every major religious tradition tells stories of great floods and civilization resets. Esoteric traditions speak of Lemuria and Atlantis. We've potentially been here before.
The difference now? Women have access to resources our ancestors never had. We can hold wealth. We can build businesses. We can create our own economies instead of waiting for broken systems to change
Practical Steps to Reclaim Your Financial Power
Halle's approach to transforming women and money mindset focuses on concrete action.
Start with Awareness
Download Halle's "Top 10 Secrets Every Woman Needs to Know About Money" to understand that wealth is your birthright. Every message telling you otherwise was wrong. Find this free resource at HalleWealth.com.
Create Multiple Income Streams
Halle's new book, "The Passive Income Power Plan: 108 Ways to Make Money While You Sleep," outlines approaches that often cost less than $500 to start. About one-third of Americans already have passive income. In uncertain times, diversification matters.
Half the strategies in her book require minimal investment. The real barrier isn't money - it's giving yourself permission to start.
Find Your Community
Instead of talking with people who dismiss these ideas, gather three other women and create a support circle. Most people resist change. Surrounding yourself with those who understand makes all the difference.
You don't need to convince people who think "that podcast lady is crazy." Build your own container for growth.
Trust Your Intuition
Those moments when something feels significant - a coincidence that seems too perfect, an idea that won't leave - aren't accidents. They're guideposts leading toward aligned action.
Pay attention to your "little WTF moments," as Halle calls them. They're more valuable than our culture acknowledges.
Challenge the Programming
When you notice yourself stepping aside to let someone pass on the path to your goals, pause. Ask whose voice is telling you to move. Then make a conscious choice to keep walking toward what you want.
The Deeper Work That Matters Most
Halle's mission goes beyond helping individual women build wealth. She believes that women's financial empowerment directly connects to planetary survival.
This isn't about female superiority. It's about recognizing that women use resources differently. While men in crypto culture ask, "When Lambo?" (When will I get my Lamborghini?), women ask "when family vacation?" and "when college education?" The focus shifts from individual gain to community impact.
Halle used to quote a statistic about women putting 80-90% of every dollar back into their local family or community, compared to 30-40% for men. She's since questioned that source and can't verify it. Still, her coaching work shows patterns supporting this principle.
She sees surprising numbers of women financially supporting male partners while telling themselves they can't ask for more in their businesses. Others carry the breadwinner role while justifying it to stay in a relationship, believing they can't have more for themselves.
"We can do this work a lot better with wealth. We can do it a lot better with a really strong base where we feel safe. For women, that's everything. It really is our foundation. Without that, we can't really excel."
Your Invitation to Begin
The conversation around women and money mindset isn't optional anymore. The economic landscape is shifting. Funding remains scarce. Traditional structures keep failing women entrepreneurs.
Yet within those challenges lies extraordinary opportunity.
You have the world's knowledge in your pocket. You have the ability to make, hold, and grow your wealth. What you also carry - the programming from great-grandmothers who survived scarcity, the messages that money wasn't your domain - can be released.
The question Halle leaves us with is simple: What are you going to do with your one wild and precious life?
If you're ready to stop getting in your own way around money, this moment is yours. If you're prepared to trust what you know and take aligned action, the path is waiting.
The world needs financially empowered women. Your community needs you to step fully into your wealth. You deserve to tell yourself the beautiful story of what's possible instead of the ugly lie of what's not.
