Episode 74: How to Land Your First Five or Six-Figure Corporate Sponsorship

Game On Girlfriend Episode 74 Title Graphic

For all of you event hosts, retreat planners and well, any entrepreneur really, this one’s for you.

You’re going to love this interview with Jessica Chinyelu.

Sometimes when I interview people, I feel like I should be furiously taking notes. And this episode was definitely one of them!

And, as a woman after my own heart, Jessica built her business by truly understanding her own talents, experience, and expertise. I was so excited to share her story with you – because it’s the exact story I tell you all the time.

You can create a hugely successful heart-centered business using the talents you’ve been given. And when you couple that with your journey and your expertise? Watch out, world.

You’ll feel unstoppable after this interview, simply because of Jessica’s example. But it doesn’t stop there …

Jessica lays out incredible idea after incredible idea, and she makes sponsorship relationships and deals seem not only attainable but fun. No, really, fun.

One of the first things I asked Jessica to share was her own journey about how she went from using student loan money to hosting events that were 100% sponsored.

Read that again. 100% sponsored. How amazing is that?

And in this episode, we also talked about the right way to secure partnerships. (Spoiler alert: relationships are everything – and this is where we women shine.)

But what I really loved about talking to Jessica is how much fun she is. We laughed so much during this interview while we talked about securing thousands of dollars of sponsorship money.

Oh, and make sure you listen for the nugget she throws out about recurring sponsorships. Holy cannoli. So good.

As you listen in to this interview, I’m going to ask you to do something I don’t normally do … I want you to think about the opportunities you might be missing out on by not figuring out how to secure sponsorships.

I mean, if you’ve been developing your following and your audience, there are huge corporations out there who are looking for you. They want to work with you to bring their products to your audience, and they’ll pay you handsomely for that privilege.

Is the free training that Jessica was offering as part of this course no longer available? It says, “As promised, you can click here to access Jessica’s free training on how to secure corporate sponsorship and brand partnerships,” but there is no hyperlink, and I don’t see anything comparable on her site. Thanks!
