Can You Be a Business Coach if You Have No Friends? – Sarah Uncut Episode 27

Ummm, yes.

But let’s really dig into this question from my newsletter.

Being a GREAT business coach — in my opinion — is a 24/7 job, and you need to walk the talk.

The challenging part about being a coach is that we don’t have the luxury of pretending that we’re perfect.

You have to be telling the truth about what's going on with you just as it’s your responsibility to tell your clients what they may not want to hear.

And that’s the other challenging part.

You can’t get into coaching to be liked. That’s your ego getting in the way. Your job as a business coach isn’t to be the client’s friend … it’s about pushing that transformation and helping the client get the clarity they need.

My mission is to put more money in the hands of women. Sometimes things can get a little heated. I have to get in there and have them recognize they are fighting for their victimhood. To serve them best, I need to let go of the idea of being liked. Does that make sense?

I looked back at the questions I get asked most often when I speak around the country (mostly on Zoom lately, thanks COVID), and my team and I whittled this down to the 12 most commonly asked questions.

I created answer for each question with a short video. You can check out the whole series here. Or Catch these episodes:
