If you’re a woman in today’s world chances are you’ve tried to lose weight.
More than once. Or twice, or even three times. And we know what we’re supposed to do, right? But for some reason, it doesn’t come easily. Sometimes it’s easier to hide than it is to stand out – maybe you’ve run into something like this in your business life?
The longer I’m in the business game, the more convinced I am that health and business are linked.
Being overweight has terrified me my entire life!
Severe obesity runs in my family and I was aware of it really early on. I went on my first diet when I was only 6 years old, my first no-diet when I was 8 and was a pretty solid dieter and gainer by the age of 16.
I would watch my family eat, and sometimes I’d join right in. Other times I could sit back as an observer and think, “Wait a minute. Why are we all sitting here eating? Why isn’t the food put away yet? Why do I keep thinking about those peanut M&Ms on the coffee table when I’m stuffed silly already?”
It’s taken me years (YEARS!) to work through this for myself, and I still struggle with emotional eating to this day. But I’ve come a really long way.
Over the last 2 and 1/2 years, I’ve taken on my health like crazy.
By taking my health seriously I can’t begin to tell you what a difference it has made in my day-to-day life. As I’ve become more healthy, my business has exploded. And I don’t think that’s by coincidence. I know there’s a connection, which is why I am SO excited to bring you today’s interview with Chitra Rochlani.
Chitra is a weight loss and body transformation coach.
And you’re going to love hearing her story. She’s certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a certified personal trainer and she’s also a Corrective Exercise Specialist, which means she’s an expert in human movement.
If all that wasn’t enough, she’s also a Precision Nutrition Coach. Pretty amazing, no? I mean, as someone who’s struggled (and continues to struggle!) with maintaining health, I was thrilled when Chirtra agreed to share her wisdom on the podcast.
In addition to her personal story, you’ll hear all about her 3 pronged approach to getting her clients off the diet-gimmick hamster wheel, the importance of the mind-body connection, how she’s pivoted her business due to COVID and how she’s keeping herself, and her clients, healthy and strong in today’s unpredictable environment.
Let’s get to it.
I hope you enjoy listening! You can find out more about Chitra HERE:
